Royal Salute 21 Year Old Rio de Janeiro Polo Edition is a limited-edition blended malt Scotch whisky inspired by Rio’s landscape, culture and connection with polo. Presented in a green flagon with an illustrated gift box, this 700ml expression combines mature Scotch whisky with a colourful tribute to Brazil.

Created by Master Blender Sandy Hyslop, it is the seventh release in Royal Salute’s Polo Collection. Its blend and presentation give this edition an identity of its own.

What makes this edition distinctive?

The blend incorporates whisky from first-fill Braeval casks, contributing a floral character. American oak-matured whiskies provide a creamy backdrop with vanilla and coconut accents.

This combination gives the Rio edition a fruit-led profile with rounded sweetness and warming spice. Its Brazilian inspiration shapes the flavour story and design, while the whisky itself comes from Scotland.
