Château Tartuguière Médoc 2010 Red Wine

RM99.50

Chateau Tartuguiere is the second wine produced by Chateau Tour Prignac, a Cru Bourgeois located in the Haut-Medoc sub-region of Bordeaux. The nose has hints of blackcurrant and an earthy note of forest floor, in true Medoc style. The palate is light and balanced, with soft wild berries and a well-rounded body.

Médoc wines are typically ruby in colour, well-balanced, and well-rounded on the palate, with notes of cassis, cherries, earth, and firm tannins.

While most Bordeaux wines need to be aged, those labeled simply “Médoc” are lighter in style and more approachable in their youth.

Wines from the Médoc are primarily Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blends grown on gravel rich soils on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, but Petit Verdot and Malbec are occasionally added.
