GlenAllachie 12 Year Old is the flagship expression at the heart of GlenAllachie’s core range. Rich, full-bodied and deeply flavourful, this Speyside single malt Scotch whisky is crafted for drinkers who enjoy sherry influence, honeyed malt, dark fruit, chocolate, spice and elegant oak depth.

Bottled at 46% ABV, with natural colour and non-chill filtration, GlenAllachie 12 Year Old is presented with whisky integrity. It delivers more texture and flavour weight than many standard lower-strength single malts, making it suitable for both regular whisky drinkers and serious single malt enthusiasts.

This expression is matured using a combination of Pedro Ximénez sherry, Oloroso sherry, red wine and virgin oak casks. The sherry casks bring dried fruit, raisins, dark chocolate and molasses. The red wine casks add fruit richness and mocha depth. The virgin oak adds butterscotch, brown sugar, cinnamon and toasted oak structure. Together, they create a balanced and indulgent Speyside whisky with excellent depth for its age.

On the nose, GlenAllachie 12 Year Old opens with layers of heather honey, butterscotch, raisins, mocha, sultanas, dried fruit and milk chocolate. The palate is rich and rounded, showing orange peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, dark cherry, molasses, vanilla custard, dried apple and gentle oak spice. The finish is long, warming and satisfying, with lingering honey, cocoa, sweet spice and dried fruit.
