Finished in Douro Valley wine barriques from Portugal, this 9-year-old expression brings together Speyside whisky character with the robust, fruit-rich influence of Portuguese red wine casks.

The whisky is first matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels before receiving additional maturation in carefully selected Douro Valley wine barriques. The Douro Valley is one of the world’s oldest protected wine regions and is known for producing full-bodied, characterful wines. These casks add richness, colour and layers of dried stone fruit, dark berries and warming spice to the GlenAllachie spirit.

Bottled at 48% ABV, non-chill filtered and with natural colour, GlenAllachie 9 Year Old Douro Valley Wine Cask Finish preserves strong texture, aroma and flavour concentration.
