Glenfiddich 23 Year Old Grand Cru Limited Edition Single Malt Whisky

This Exclusive Glenfiddich 23-Year-Old Grand Cru expression was elegantly finished in rare french cuvee casks after maturing for 23 years in American and European Oak Casks.

Glenfiddich Grand Cru has been finished for four months in a combination of first-fill and second-fill French oak casks that have previously been used to ferment wine that will eventually become a famous sparkling wine. It was initially matured in a small number of ex-sherry casks and American oak casks. The aromas of freshly baked bread, apple blossom, and lemons are complemented by flavours of creamy vanilla, brioche, pear sorbet, and white grapes on the palate.

It’s obvious that the Glenfiddich staff enjoys discovering new cask varieties for their whisky. The distillery definitely has some experimental flair, whether it’s using ice wine casks or putting peaty whisky in rum casks. And Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23-Year-Old is ideal if you want something with an experimental flair. Before being transferred to rare French cuvée oak casks, this single malt first ages in American and European oak casks. These casks have a wonderful impact on the whisky, enhancing it with notes of baked goods and fresh fruit.
